The Plank™ Terms & Conditions

The Plank™ and its affiliates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at The Plank™, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future The Plank™ service or visit or purchase from any business affiliated with The Plank™, whether or not included in the The Plank™ Web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business.

Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your visit to The Plank™, to understand our practices.

Default Currency

Unless otherwise stated, the default currency is New Zealand Dollars.

Delivery

All deliveries within New Zealand are by Courier and direct to your door. Please ensure that when placing your order you advise us of any special delivery instructions, especially if you are likely to be away from home when the courier calls.

We use NZ Post for international deliveries. Deliveries to Australia are dispatched same day if ordered before 10.00am on a business day or next business day if ordered after 10.00am, on a public holiday or weekend. Australian deliveries have a delivery target of 6-10 days and are tracked.

Any shortages or breakages must be reported to The Plank™ within 24 hours, preferably by email and quoting your purchase details.

All items purchased from The Plank™ are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Warranty

The Plank™ will meet its obligations required under New Zealand Consumers Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act. Australian Customers are covered under Australian Competition and Consumer Act.

All macrocarpa products are sold with a 5 year warranty and cover only the timber’s structural integrity, fasteners or any manufacturing defects. Please see our full warranty, returns & refund policy here.

Discount Codes

Discount codes cannot be used to purchase items already on sale, bundles, or in conjunction with other discounts (unless otherwise stated as part of a specific promotion). Discount codes are one-time-use per person unless otherwise stated and cannot be used for multiple orders. Promotions that allow discount codes to be used to purchase subscription items will only apply a discount to the first order – all future subscription fulfilment orders are charged at full price.

Disclaimer of Endorsement

Any reference made on the site to any specific commercial product, process, or service by trade name, trademark, manufacturer, or otherwise does not indicate or imply that The Plank™ endorses, recommends, or favours the item mentioned. The views and opinions expressed herein do not necessarily state or reflect those of The Plank™, and shall not be used for advertising or product endorsement purposes.

Availability of Product

Since the Site may be accessed from international locations where The Plank™ does not do business, The Plank™ does not represent that it is doing business in all such areas, or that its services will be available in any particular country or jurisdiction. Such products will only be made available in compliance with applicable laws, and only when The Plank™ decides to offer them.

Any information provided by readers to the proprietors, including without limitation data, questions, comments, suggestions, etc., shall be expressly deemed to be non-confidential.
